Somewhere along the road I fell into aphasia

and now the way I feel things is through synesthesia 

so now love is yellow and blue is the calm and 

I feel grey as I write this song  

so pull apart my sutures and hold my heart

and watch it bleed in your hands as I fall apart

and when it stops beating and my lips fall cold

take my heart to a vendor to sell for gold

The guy will roll his eyes at your blood-soaked hands

so sell it to my mom or my youtube fans 

And they’ll ask for the eyes that fell for you 

But i’ve never seen brown eyes look so blue

Now anger is green and it stares at me 

And I’m free once that grandpa clock strikes 13 

But I don’t live on army time so I guess I’m fine 

I’ll just find some meaning through a well-thought rhyme

With my superpower we could disappear
